the photo trade
set of prints for May photo trade.

the theme for May, which was “losing focus”, was more challenging than i had thought. i tried many shots of different objects but just could not be satisfied with the results. this is a pot of “siu pak choi” (little white cabbage) sitting on the tv cabinet in my living room. it has been with me for as long as i can remember. it had been cut, replanted and revived for more than several times. it remains a strong, beautiful plant. i like the way the white veins are blurred but visible. i hope my dear swap partner will like them.
packaging for the prints. patterned vellum and handstamped brown papercard.

i like the new theme for June, “into the light”, and my pictures are ready, early this time.
they are shots of my carnation and roses. i have this one framed to see how it will look. i like it.

the other 2 of the set. i just have to wait for details of my swap partner. it is very exciting.

found via jenifer, a beautiful project ~ my heart wanders. i am sure my picture will not be good enough to make it to the book, but it is so interesting i am going to give it my best shot.
new post. thank you, heide, for the pictures. we are sorry siu momo’s scream had scared baby ashton.

is the siu bak choi plant the same kind of veggie as “bak choi”??
